There is a traveling, wholesale gem show that comes to Minneapolis (or Bloomington, to be exact) twice a year. These two days are literally my favorite days of the year. Here is a little selection of my spoils this year. Lots of green popping up- grossular garnet, prehnite, jade, and some pinks too which are new to my palette- rhodochrosite, rose quartz, and beautiful vinyl African trade beads. Of course I couldn't resist buying more labradorite, moonstone, and pyrite too... New materials give birth to new ideas...
